So, how does the magnet actually help the body and its functions? The answer to this question actually makes quite a bit of sense. Blood has quite a bit of iron in it. Magnets attract iron. If the magnets field is used over and around the blood it will naturally attract the iron in the blood causing the to fall into line, so-to-speak. As the iron falls into line the blood begins to flow more easily and efficiently, which causes other parts of the body to react in a positive way. Better blood flow means lower blood pressure, more energy because more oxygen is flowing and a clearer mind.

Pain reduction
For magnets to affect pain reduction, the magnetic field needs to affect cell tissue growth. Happily, it does and has the added benefit of lowering inflammation. But, more importantly it affects the signals being sent to the brain in a good way. These new cells are negatively charged and are supposed to send pain impulses to the brain. The problem is that the blood cells, that help do the sending, have a Potassium center which is positively charged. Positives and negatives together mean that fewer pain impulses make it to the brain. This, in the end, means less pain.
